Do you mean by using the sport button to select it? You would likely need to buy and install a sport button and wire it in. If that helps answer your question.

@blaise2fresh you can DIY the repair. That board and display is separate from the rest of the cluster. Buy a parts cluster and swap it out. Mileage is not part of that assembly.

All IS series clusters should interchange. Whether all the functions and features work correctly is a different story.

You can do that, but it's going to have the same issue at some point.

That's pretty odd. If the screen was bad it should be pink all the time. Could be an issue with the main display/navigation board or that portion of the unit.

What are you trying to do? There is no odometer wire really. Everything is digital signals.

@@TaninAutoElectronix The cluster has a plug. Unplugging the cluster stops the mileage count. One of those wires going through that plug is only for the odometer and perhaps the speed. That's the wire color I'm looking for

@@HEADBANGRR Doesn't work that way these days. Everything is a digital signal to the PCM/ECU, then a digital signal into the cluster via essentially a network cable, like a computer. There's no direct speed or odometer wire from the speed sensor to the cluster.

@@TaninAutoElectronix ACTUALLY disconnecting the plug does stop the miles

@@HEADBANGRR Yes obviously that will stop the miles as it's no longer connected to the vehicle. There is no way to individually stop the mileage. Every other dataset would stop also. You would need to cut the wire from the speed sensor going to the PCM/ECU. Then the speedometer would not move and odometer would not accumulate. Sometimes on Fords however the speed is calculated through the wheel sensors and not directly a speed sensor pulsing.

We only focus on speedometers and heater controls. Does your climate control unit work properly or are the blend doors bad?

I took out my unit on my 92 SC 300 to get repaired, sent it to you guys, got it back and when I put it in it didn't work, all it would do is just light up, nothing else, not sure what's going on. I had the lights fixed and the LCD screen replaced as it was blacked out. The radio works fine when I put it back in since it's located on the same bracket and had to come out with the climate control. @TaninAutoElectronix 0:34

@@608portraits9 Sounds like one of the power wires or fuses is not working. There are multiple. If the lights work and nothing else then you would need to look at additional fuses, the cig fuse, etc. Everything is tested before it ships out and is functioning as it should.

@@TaninAutoElectronix I checked every fuse in the car, in the engine bay and the kick panel, nothing changed from the time I took the unit out until the time I put it back in? It should of worked as soon as I connected all three connections. How could the LCD light up and the unit is not getting power? It will not turn on when I press the control knob?

@@608portraits9 Maybe the knob is broken then or not plugged in. The LCD lighting is on a completely different power source. That is why the lighting is working.
